Meet Dr. Ilya Badalov, MD at Digestive Disease Care Serving New York Community

Dr. Badalov earned his medical degree from Tashkent State Medical Institute. He then completed an endoscopy fellowship at Moscow State Medical Institute in Russia in 1996. Dr. Badalov came to New York to complete his medical residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. He completed his training with a Gastroenterology fellowship at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn.

He delivers care with compassion and empathy. Dr. Badalov is committed to working with his colleagues in providing the highest quality of endoscopic, gastrointestinal, and liver care. He is also committed to providing his patients with education regarding their disease processes, thereby allowing them to make informed decisions.

Dr. Badalov specializes in treating and managing gastrointestinal issues, such as heartburn, colon polyps, acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux, ulcers, liver disease, constipation, and fatty liver. In addition, he has a particular focus on colon cancer prevention. 

He has extensive experience performing a wide range of advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures to diagnose and treat the most complex digestive disease. They include clinical applications of capsule endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).

Since then, he has served the Queens and surrounding communities with patient-centered, timely care. Dr. Badalov is always available to his patients, working with them closely to improve their overall digestive health and quality of life.
